Job Title: Industrial Electrician (Control Panel Wiring)

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician with hands-on expertise in industrial control panel assembly and electrical wiring. The ideal candidate will have experience building and wiring industrial control panels, interpreting electrical schematics, troubleshooting electrical systems, and ensuring compliance with industry electrical standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble and wire industrial control panels according to engineering drawings and specifications.
- Read, interpret, and troubleshoot electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
- Install and wire PLCs, VFDs, servo drives, disconnects, relays, contactors, fuses, and other industrial control components.
- Perform 480VAC and 24VDC control wiring.
- Troubleshoot electrical circuits and resolve wiring issues.
- Ensure all work complies with NEC, NFPA, and applicable electrical safety standards.
- Communicate project progress, issues, and design changes with internal teams.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
- Support quality standards and project delivery timelines.
Required Qualifications
- State Journeyman Electrician License or equivalent Maintenance Electrician certification.
- Hands-on experience building and wiring industrial control panels.
- Strong understanding of NEC/NFPA70, NFPA79, and UL508A electrical standards.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics.
- Experience troubleshooting industrial electrical systems.
- Basic computer skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with PLC, VFD, servo drive, relay, contactor, and disconnect wiring.
- Industrial machine wiring experience.
- Knowledge of electrical panel troubleshooting and commissioning.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to bend, kneel, climb ladders, and work around industrial machinery.
- Comfortable working in an industrial manufacturing environment.
Education & Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 4 years of industrial electrical experience preferred.
- Vocational or technical education is a plus.
- Journeyman Electrician certification preferred.
