Job Overview
We are seeking detail-oriented Engineering Technicians to perform Weld Inspection and Construction Materials Testing. Work will be a combination of outdoors and laboratory/office work. Connstruction related field experience is required. Some Weld Inspection is prefered. .
A minimum of a high school diploma is required. Typical takes are as follows:
- Weld and Bolt Inspections
- Sampling and testing of construction materials.
- Support quality control efforts by conducting inspections and tests on materials.
- Perform field and Laboratory Testing Services.
- Civil / Geotechnical Engineering Assistant tasks.
- Flexible working hours available.
Qualifications
- Active Alabama Driver’s License.
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant coursework or training in construction or engineering is a plus.
- Familiarity with Weld and Bolt Inspection is required.
- Quality control processes and laboratory testing is advantageous.
- Previous experience in an engineering or technical role is preferred but not mandatory.
- Effective communication skills.
- Active Alabama Driver’s License.
