The position is responsible for ensuring that clinical care is administered in line with both organizational policies and healthcare standards. This includes assessing and refining patient care processes, while managing environmental factors, human resources, and administrative tasks to improve efficiency and effectiveness. The professional will collaborate with surgeons, coordinate with various departments, and manage both clinical and administrative staff to ensure seamless operations.
You will supervise a team to maintain an optimal environment for both staff and patients, managing everything from staff education and performance evaluation to maintenance of equipment and procedural standards. Promoting best practices in patient safety, infection control, and resource management are key components of this role. The ideal candidate will be an RN with a current state license, CPR certification, and preferably ACLS certification, with a proven supervisory background in a surgical setting. This position demands someone who can not only lead but also foster a culture of continuous improvement and engagement among staff.
