A Twin Cities Analytical Laboratory is now taking email applications for an Entry Level Full-time Laboratory Technician position. A typical day as a laboratory technician can include, but not be limited to:
- Lab Maintenance: Stock and clean lab benches, prepare basic solutions, wash dishes, dispose of old samples, and assist with inventory
- Sample Reception:Log incoming samples into various AminoAcids.com databases and assemble folders with appropriate SOPs and accompanying paperwork
- Sample Preparation:Perform routine weigh ups and water extractions per SOPs, perform dilutions using micropipettes per SOPs
We are looking for a dedicated technician with the following qualifications:
- Associates or Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or equivalent
- Solid pipetting and weighing skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Good Laboratory practices
- Solid computer and excel spreadsheet skills
- Desire to be a team player
- Desire to learn and advance your career
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-intensity work environment
Preferred Qaulifications (However not necessary to apply)
- Experience with HPLC and/or GC chromatography and data reduction preferred
- 0-1 year of professional laboratory experience
Salary: Negotiable, $43,000 - $46,000 per year based on experience
