Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
• Take customer orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS
• Process cash and card transactions efficiently, ensuring correct change and receipts
• Assist with food preparation tasks to support kitchen staff and ensure timely service
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in dining areas, counters, and workspaces
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and follow food safety protocols at all times
• Manage food handling responsibilities with attention to hygiene and quality standards
• Support food service customer order management by coordinating between front counter and kitchen staff
• Buss tables, clear dishes, and ensure the dining area remains tidy and inviting
• Handle retail sales transactions for merchandise or packaged food items when applicable

Skills

• Proven experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments with strong food industry knowledge
• Proficiency in POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms
• Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and active listening abilities
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods
• Ability to upsell menu items confidently to enhance guest satisfaction and sales revenue
• Basic math skills for processing cash transactions accurately and managing retail math calculations
• Knowledge of food safety management practices including sanitation, proper handling, and serving techniques
• Experience operating kitchen equipment safely and supporting food preparation processes
• Retail sales experience including cashiering, processing cash handling, and grocery store familiarity is a plus
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment while maintaining a clean workspace
