What are the responsibilities and job description for the Product Development Assistant position at Amiee Lynn Inc.?
We are hiring a Product Development Role, this person must be motivated & a professional product development specialist. Must have experience in soft home, especially kitchen/ table and bath products. This role will report to our Design Director and follow through with all products with the designer from the tech pack stage through finished product. We are looking for a self-starter with a good attitude that can easily work with others. This is a growing division with a lot of room for learning and career advancement.
Duties:
· Candidate will track production processes daily.
· Create development charts for all projects.
· Make sure costing is organized & up to date.
· Keep & maintain contact with overseas office to ensure projects are on schedule.
· Follow up on samples, shipping dates etc.
· Work with the design team on approvals and let the factory know feedback or comments
on the samples.
Qualifications/Requirements:
· degree in textile design or related field with knowledge of fabrics/ fabrications
· must be detail oriented and flexible/ works well under pressure
· Excellent written & oral communication skills
· 1-3 years experience in design
· ability to manage multiple projects with guidance from director
· strong interpersonal skills
· knowledge of MS office suite
Salary : $60,000 - $65,000
