We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Logistics Coordinator to join our team based out of our New Jersey office. This hybrid role is responsible for coordinating domestic and international shipments, ensuring on-time delivery, managing transportation providers, and supporting our Logistics team. The ideal candidate has prior experience in the logistics and shipping industry, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and possesses strong problem-solving and communication skills. The hybrid schedule is non negitoable.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage inbound and outbound shipments, including domestic and international transportation.
- Schedule and track shipments to ensure timely delivery to customers, warehouses
- Communicate regularly with freight carriers, shipping vendors, warehouses, and internal teams regarding shipment status and issues.
- Prepare and review shipping documentation, including bills of lading, packing lists, customs documents, and carrier paperwork.
- Monitor freight costs and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce expenses.
- Resolve shipping delays, transportation issues, and customer concerns in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate shipping records, inventory movement reports, and logistics data.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Sales, Production, Operations, and Finance to support business objectives.
- Ensure compliance with all transportation regulations, company policies, and customer requirements.
- Assist with process improvements and implement best practices to enhance logistics operations.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in logistics, transportation, shipping, or supply chain coordination.
- Strong knowledge of domestic and international shipping processes, freight management, and transportation regulations.
- Experience working with carriers such as UPS, FedEx, LTL, FTL, and ocean freight providers.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
