What are the responsibilities and job description for the Construction Superintendent position at Amicus Talent Group?
We are seeking experienced Construction Superintendents to lead ground-up data center construction projects in the South Chicago area.
This role covers a variety of superintendent disciplines, including Project, Mechanical, Commissioning, and Fiber Superintendents, and requires hands-on expertise in mission-critical construction, such as:
- Overseeing site development, structural construction, and mission-critical MEP systems
- Managing General Contractors and subcontractors to ensure projects are delivered on time, safely, and to specification
- Coordinating mechanical, electrical, fiber, and commissioning activities to meet strict quality and reliability standards
- Leading on-site teams and maintaining clear communication with clients and stakeholders
Who we’re looking for:
- Professionals with experience on large-scale, ground-up data center projects
- Strong leadership and field supervision skills
- Knowledge of MEP systems, fiber optic infrastructure, commissioning processes, and mission-critical data center requirements
- Candidates legally authorized to work in North America (visa sponsorship not available)
