Job Summary:
As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting a variety of coffee and tea beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring a welcoming environment for our customers. You will play an essential role in making each customer’s experience memorable.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a wide variety of coffee and tea beverages, customizing them according to customer preferences.
- Operate the cash register and handle cash transactions accurately while providing excellent customer service.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café, including workstations, equipment, and dining areas.
- Assist with food preparation, ensuring adherence to food safety standards.
- Engage with customers, providing menu recommendations and answering questions.
- Monitor inventory levels of supplies (coffee beans, syrups, etc.) and communicate needs to management.
- Follow health and safety regulations related to food handling and preparation.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during peak hours.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a café or retail environment is preferred but not required.
- Strong knowledge of coffee and tea preparation is a plus.
- Proficiency with POS systems; experience with Aloha POS is a bonus.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transactions.
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly, customer-focused demeanor.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Must be able to stand for long periods as required.
Schedule:
Shifts available between 9:00 AM – 8:00 PM

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.90 - $22.50 per hour
