Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position for a Low Voltage Installer, based in Rapid City, SD. The Low Voltage Installer will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining low voltage systems, including audio, video, security, access control, and communication systems. Daily tasks include terminating cabling, configuring and mounting equipment, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards. The installer will also collaborate closely with team members and clients to meet project requirements.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in low voltage systems such as audio, video, security, and access control
- Skills in cabling, including running, terminating, and maintaining low voltage wires
- Experience with equipment installation, configuration, and troubleshooting
- Familiarity with safety standards and the ability to follow protocols
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Capability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines efficiently
- Basic understanding of industry-specific tools and technology
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally, as needed
- High School Diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in low voltage systems are a plus
