Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Kitchen Team Member to join our culinary team. This role is essential in ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently while delivering high-quality meals to our guests. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and service, with a focus on food safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of meals according to menu specifications and dietary requirements.
• Perform cooking tasks, including grilling, sautéing, baking, and frying as needed.
• Ensure all food handling practices comply with health and safety regulations.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper storage of food items.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely meal service during peak hours.
• Participate in menu planning and contribute ideas for new dishes or improvements to existing offerings.
• Handle food items safely, utilizing proper knife skills and cooking techniques.
• Support catering events by preparing and serving food as required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a dietary department or as a dietary aide is preferred.
• Strong background in food service, including restaurant or kitchen experience.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in meal preparation.
• Culinary experience with demonstrated skills in cooking, food handling, and meal preparation.
• Excellent knife skills and familiarity with various cooking methods.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while maintaining a positive attitude.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
