What you’ll do
- Provide direct support to individuals with disabilities with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and dignity.
- Assist with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, dressing, depending on each individual specific needs.
- Monitor and document daily health and activities. Report any changes to the agency.
- Follow and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with clients and their families.
- Prepare nutritious meals while accommodating dietary restrictions (if necessary) and preferences
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in living spaces to promote a safe environment.
- Engage clients in meaningful activities that enhance social interaction and cognitive function.
- If needed, administer medications as prescribed, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Required qualifications
- 18 years old
- High School Diploma or GED
- Driver License
- Social Security
- No criminal record (must passed Level 2 background
Preferred qualifications
- Preferably experienced working with individuals with physical or/and developmental disabilities.
- Strong observational skills for patient monitoring and assessment.
-No certification or training required, the agency will provide necessary training and certifications upon hire.
-This is an Independent Contractor position.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
