JOB DESCRIPTION
Massage therapist is responsible for greeting Bergamos Retreat guests in the Spa, making them comfortable, and providing them with 5 star massages and/or body treatments. The ultimate purpose is to provide relaxation and restoration to our guests. Must work with and aid other team members in spa operations to ensure a 5 star experience for the guest.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following, other duties may be assigned:
- Prepare room and tools necessary for scheduled treatments
- Ensure treatment room and areas are clean and sanitized using approved sanitizing procedures
- Restock treatment products in treatment areas
- Remove soiled laundry
- Bring in clean laundry Assist in opening and closing duties
- Transport guests
- Perform a variety of massage modalities including deep tissue and hot stone massage
- Perform variety of body treatments
- Willingness to receive training on new procedures
- Any tasks deemed necessary by manager to keep spa clean, stocked, and operating smoothly
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Must comply with all company policies and procedures.
- To perform the essential functions of this position regular and consistent attendance in required.
- Must be able to work well with other Team Members, Managers and interact with our guests.
- Must have the flexibility to work nights and weekends.
- Must have Texas State License required and required continuing education units, required 6 months as a practicing Licensed Massage Therapist preferred
- Must have excellent verbal communication skills
- Must be able to communicate effectively with guests, managers and team members
- Must be able to exercise judgment and make decisions based on job knowledge and awareness of company goals.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Must be able to be on feet for most of the day
- Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs
- Must be able to perform multiple services during shift
- Must be able to work in a calm and quiet spa setting

The hourly rate is a reflection of your productivity rate (scheduled time/booked time) and will be adjusted accordingly to your performance.
