We are seeking a Thai-speaking Front Office Associate to be the friendly face that greets our patients and helps keep our clinic running smoothly. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys fast-paced teamwork, helping patients feel comfortable, and making a real difference in community healthcare!
What You'll Do
As part of our Clinic Operations team, you'll play a key role in delivering a seamless and welcoming patient experience. Your day may include:
- Greeting patients and creating a warm, welcoming environment
- Checking patients in and out using our electronic medical system
- Verifying and updating patient demographic and insurance information
- Scheduling and coordinating patient appointments
- Assisting patients with program enrollments (Medi-Cal, Family PACT, etc.)
- Collecting copays and processing payments
- Helping guide patients through clinic services, prescriptions, and next steps
- Supporting smooth communication between patients, providers, and clinic staff
- Answering phones and assisting with scheduling questions
- Ensuring patient records and documentation are accurate and organized
Qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience in a medical office or clinic setting
- Fluency in Thai and English (required)
- High School Diploma, required
- Experience with patient scheduling, registration, or front desk operations preferred
- Knowledge of healthcare programs (Medi-Cal, Medicare, Family PACT, etc.) is a plus
- Comfortable using computers and systems such as Microsoft Office and EMR software
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
