Partner directly with the Chief Medical Officer as the inaugural Associate Medical Director for a respected, mission-driven Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) serving the San Fernando Valley for more than 55 years.

Your Impact

Working closely with the Chief Medical Officer, you will:

  • Mentor, coach, and develop physicians and advanced practice providers
  • Support provider recruitment, onboarding, credentialing, and privileging
  • Improve quality metrics, clinical performance, and operational efficiency
  • Lead quality improvement and strategic initiatives across multiple clinic sites
  • Collaborate with nursing, behavioral health, operations, and executive leadership to strengthen integrated care
  • Help guide Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH) initiatives and clinical best practices
  • Support special projects based on your interests, including medical education, homeless medicine, community outreach, and provider development


Compensation & Benefits

  • $320,000–$340,000 base salary
  • Up to $45,000 annual incentive
  • $10,000 annual bilingual (Spanish) bonus
  • Relocation assistance available

Qualifications

  • MD or DO
  • Board Certified in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, or OB/GYN
  • Minimum 2–4 years of physician leadership or supervisory experience
  • Required: Experience in an FQHC or Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH) environment
  • Active California medical license (or eligible)
  • Passion for mentoring providers, improving quality, and leading collaborative teams
