AMI Consulting Engineers, PA is seeking a Structural Engineering BIM Technician to support the planning, design, and delivery of structural, marine, waterfront, and civil engineering projects. This role is responsible for developing accurate Building Information Models (BIM), technical drawings, and construction documents that translate engineering concepts, calculations, and design criteria into coordinated, constructible plans. Working closely with project managers and engineers, the BIM Technician plays a key role in supporting permitting, bidding, and construction activities by ensuring the accuracy, quality, and coordination of project documentation.

This role requires proficiency in Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD, a strong understanding of engineering drafting principles, and the ability to maintain high standards of quality while managing multiple project assignments. A commitment to continuous learning, quality, and professional development is essential for long-term success in this role.

This position is ideal for an individual seeking to build a long-term career in structural engineering and Building Information Modeling within a growing consulting engineering firm. Over time, the technician will be expected to take increasing ownership of project production, coordinate directly with engineers across multiple disciplines, and contribute to the ongoing development of AMI's drafting and BIM capabilities.
