AMI is needing a highly skilled Asphalt Paver Operator to join our dynamic team. This key role directly impacts production goals and quality standards. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in high-standard paving operations and be an energetic, action-oriented, positive, and professional team player.
Job Responsibilities:
- Operate asphalt paving machinery safely and efficiently.
- Knowledge on how to keep screed adjusted properly and set up electronics in line with the paver to maintain quality.
- Monitor asphalt distribution, ensuring smooth application and finish.
- Conduct daily inspections of equipment and ensure proper maintenance.
- Work alongside crew members and assist in all capacities of applications.
- Uphold jobsite safety, cleanliness, and professionalism at all times.
- Report issues, material needs, and progress to supervisors.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills Needed:
- Must be proficient in operating an Asphalt Paver.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of asphalt experience is required.
- Available to work weekends.
- Ability to operate a Roller, Skid Steer, lute is a plus.
