Duties
- Operate forklifts and power tools safely to move materials and finished products within the facility
- Assist with fabrication and assembly of components using hand tools and machining equipment
- Handle raw materials and finished goods efficiently, ensuring proper storage and organization in the warehouse
- Perform basic carpentry, millwork, and construction tasks as needed to support production processes
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment and materials to maintain quality standards
- Support manufacturing operations by setting up machinery, troubleshooting mechanical issues, and performing minor repairs
- Follow safety protocols diligently while working with heavy machinery, fabrication tools, and materials handling equipment
Skills
- Proven experience with forklift operation a plus
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to use hand tools, power tools, and machining equipment effectively
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes such as assembly, fabrication, carpentry, and millwork
- Knowledge of materials handling techniques to optimize workflow and safety
- Ability to read technical drawings or blueprints is a plus
- Basic understanding of construction or machining principles beneficial for troubleshooting equipment issues
- Prior experience in warehouse or manufacturing environments preferred
SCHEDULE: 4 x 10 (3 day weekends!)
Mon- Thurs 6am- 4pm
Job Type: Full-time
