Amherst Meadows is currently seeking a Full-Time Activity Aide. The ideal candidate is 18 years or older, energetic, organized and has strong multitasking abilities. Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning and implementing engaging activities for residents
- Create a warm and welcoming environment for residents, promoting social interaction and companionship
- Maintain accurate documentation of resident participation and progress
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred but not required
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Compassionate and patient demeanor when working with older adults
- Ability to work well within a team environment
- Flexibility to adapt to changing needs and priorities
