Responsibilities

• Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar buildup.
• Conduct patient assessments by reviewing medical histories, vital signs, and current dental conditions.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and treatment options to promote lifelong dental health.
• Take and interpret medical imaging such as X-rays, ensuring proper positioning and safety protocols are followed.
• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and office policies.
• Follow infection control protocols using aseptic techniques to ensure a sterile environment for all procedures.

Qualifications

• Valid state licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist with current certification to practice.
• Proficiency in dental software systems such as Eaglesoft for documentation review and record keeping.
• Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, medical terminology, and infection control standards.

Pay: $50.00 - $54.00 per hour
