What are the responsibilities and job description for the Specimen Collector position at AMG Specialty Group?
Busy clinic that is looking for a specimen collector. Candidate must be very responsible, organized and professional. Candidate duties include writing up patient requisitions, having patient provide urine sample for testing and prepare sample for shipment to our laboratory. Must have medical office experience.
- Position requires face-to-face interaction with patients to gather information which may be completed on laptop/tablet
- Must have comfort level using technology including tablets and other mobile devices
- Must have reliable transportation
- Requires the use of technology
- Process and distribute paperwork
- Hours 7:40 - 5:00
