Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer with an active Professional Engineer (PE) license to lead and manage electrical design projects. This is a hands-on role where you’ll lead electrical system design, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and mentor junior staff.
Key Responsibilities
• Design and analyze power distribution, lighting, grounding, and control systems
• Develop electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and layouts
• Ensure compliance with NEC, NFPA, IEEE, and client standards
• Lead project planning, budgeting, and deliverables
• Conduct site visits, inspections, and field verification
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers and designers
Qualifications
• Active Professional Engineer (PE) license in Electrical Engineering – required
• Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering or related field
• Minimum of 5–7 years of electrical engineering experience in industrial/manufacturing/plant process sectors
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, or similar electrical design tools
• Experience with ETAP, SKM or EasyPower is preferred
• Strong understanding of electrical codes and standards
• Knowledge of wiring and power distribution, MCCs, cable sizing, power correction, VFDs, transformers and switchgear, single line diagrams, lighting design and basic knowledge of P&IDs
• Excellent project management and communication skills
