Gov Dental Assistant - Naval Base Portsmouth (VA 23511)

We're currently seeking a full-time Dental Assistants to provide services at Naval Medical Center - Portsmouth main baselocated in 1647 Admiral Taussig Blvd Norfolk, VA 23511. Additional position details provided below:

POSITION DETAILS:

• LOCATION: NMC Portsmouth (1647 Admiral Taussig Blvd Norfolk, VA 23511)
• SCHEDULE: Mon - Thu 6:30a-3:30p & Fri 6:30-3:15p 30min Lunch (NO WEEKENDS)
• PAY PACKAGE:
• 1. OPTION #1 (HOURLY INSURANCE): $18.89/hr AMG Insurance (Medical Vision Dental Coverage Plan)
• 2. OPTION #2 (HOURLY H&W) $18.89/hr H&W Hourly Rate NO AMG INSURANCE COVERAGE PROVIDED (Must currently have active insurance coverage by: Tricare, Medicare, or Group Plan to qualify for option #2.)
• BENEFITS: x11 Paid Holiday Off Days 10 PTO Days 56 Hrs of Sick Leave

REQUIRED ITEMS:

• UPDATED RESUME: Must have at least 1 yr of relevant recent work experience (Some candidates may require 3 yrs)
• DA CERT: Must send over active Dental Assistant certification
• DA DIPLOMA: Must send over diploma/equivalent showing proof of course completion.
• BLS CERT: Must send over active, non-expired Basic Life Support cert (Issued by AHA or ARC only)
• DRIVERS LICENSE: Must send over active drivers license
• SOCIAL SECURITY: Must send over valid social security card
• CURRENT INSURANCE*: Must send over ONLY if choosing AMG Insurance Coverage option
