We are seeking a motivated Recruiting & Sales Intern with an active life insurance license to join our Raleigh team. This role is designed for individuals who want to build experience in both talent acquisition and insurance sales.
You will play a key role in the front end of our hiring process, while also actively developing your skills in insurance sales, client communication, and closing.
This is a high-activity, phone-based role where you’ll build valuable communication skills while learning how to recruit and sell effectively.
Recruiting Responsibilities (Primary Focus):
- Conduct 20–30 minute scheduled phone interviews with prospective agents
- Lead structured conversations to:
- Understand candidate goals and background
- Explain AMG’s business model and opportunity
- Evaluate mutual fit
- Move qualified candidates to next interview stages
- Schedule follow-up interviews with leadership
- Make outbound calls to warm and cold candidates as needed
- Track detailed notes and candidate progress
Sales Responsibilities & Development:
- Engage in insurance sales conversations with prospective clients
- Apply needs analysis, objection handling, and closing techniques
- Begin writing business and earning commission as you progress
- Continue developing real-world sales skills through hands-on experience
- Real experience in both recruiting and licensed insurance sales
- High-volume communication and client interaction
- Structured scripts, systems, and daily coaching
- Clear path into higher-income, commission-based roles
- Fast-paced, performance-driven environment
