What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part/Full Time Truck Driver for Tool Delivery position at AMG Demolition Inc.?

We are looking for a punctual, hard working person for this role. Your day will start at our warehouse located in Farmingdale, you will primarily travel within the 5 boroughs. We are a Union Demolition Company, some of our hours for jobs vary and weekend work is a possibility depending on the job. This job entails loading tools from our warehouse and delivering and unloading to job sites. At the end of a project you will need to pick up the tools, load the truck and return them to the warehouse.
As stated, the hours can vary daily or weekly depending on the project we are working on at the time. Some projects are evening starts, some are day so your schedule will change daily. Must be flexible and available.
- Must have clean drivers license.
- Must be able to drive a box trucks up to 20' in size, dump trucks (medium), tow trailers- all throughout Long Island, the 5 boroughs and up to Westchester.
- Must be able to tow a trailer, load & unload the trailer with equipment.
- Heavy lifting
- Must be willing to work various hours.
- Experience of commercial routes through the 5 boroughs.
- Must be able to physically load tools in truck and unload.
- Knowledge of driving all over the 5 boroughs with commercial vehicle.
- Knowledge of demolition tools a plus.
- Punctual, reliable and responsible.
- Proficiency in communication.
Pay: $27.00 - $32.00 per hour
