What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Account Executive position at AMG Companies?
The Senior Account Executive will be dedicated to our AmeriCo Group business and serve as the primary point of contact responsible for managing the Costco relationship. Success in this role entails overseeing a complex business across multiple categories and countries.
Responsibilities:
- Cultivate strong relationships with the Costco merchant team
- Lead all communication and business execution for the Costco account
- Lead internally with vision, clear communication, and a positive attitude
- Serve as single point of communication to Costco teams for all internal teams including Design, Production, QA, Planning, and Logistics
- Present new product lines to Costco along with sales and financial data
- Develop business plans and forecasts identifying strategies to drive growth and profitability
- Master internal/external systems, including SAP, Air Table, and Costco account portals
- Create and present advanced internal costing models
- Review and Interpret Weekly and Seasonal selling reports
- Curate newness with Design to drive product development
- Work in tandem with internal teams to manage timely shipments and accuracy on all POs
- Partner with internal Planning team to replenish based on sales data
Skills:
- Proactive, flexible to change with business needs, resourceful, and efficient
- Excellent verbal, written communication, interpersonal skills
- Strong Excel skills required (lookups, pivot tables, formatting, shortcuts, etc.)
- Understanding of the retail landscape and competition
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience within apparel wholesale
- Costco experience a plus
- BA or BS preferred
- Solid understanding of gross margin analysis, i.e. sell-through; markdowns; EOS settlement
- Strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize, multitask, and acute attention to detail
- Ability to travel within North America as needed
Annual salary range starting at $100,000.
