CMDB Administrator

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated CMDB Administrator to join our team. The CMDB Administrator will be responsible for managing and maintaining our Configuration Management Database (CMDB) to ensure accurate and up-to-date information is available for all IT assets and services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ITIL processes and experience with CMDB tools and technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, implement, and maintain the CMDB architecture and data model

- Develop and maintain CMDB policies, procedures, and standards

- Ensure data integrity and accuracy within the CMDB

- Monitor and report on CMDB performance and usage metrics

- Coordinate with IT teams to identify and collect asset and service data for the CMDB

- Perform regular audits and reconciliations to identify and resolve data discrepancies

- Troubleshoot and resolve any CMDB-related issues

- Develop and maintain CMDB documentation and training materials

- Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and trends related to CMDB management

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in CMDB administration

- Strong understanding of ITIL processes and best practices

- Experience with CMDB tools and technologies, such as ServiceNow or BMC Remedy

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- ITIL certification is a plus
