What are the responsibilities and job description for the Marketer position at Amethyst Health of Wausau?
OVERVIEW:
Responsible for creating and implementing an overall marketing strategy and build relationships in the community while increasing patient census and fostering partnerships with physicians, clinics, hospitals, Assisted Living Facilities, Hospice, and Home Care companies. To acquire the necessary and appropriate information to facilitate the admission of the resident to the facility from home, hospital, or other facility and to complete the documents necessary for the admission process.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for building and maintaining relationships with acute-care hospitals, health systems, discharge planners, case managers, rehabilitation centers, and assisted living facilities
- Work with physicians and hospital discharge planners to arrange a smooth transition to the facility
- Build and maintain relationships with hospitals, physicians, social workers, discharge planners and other referral sources
- Analyze referrals to ensure facility can meet resident’s needs adequately with direction from D.O.N.
- Facilitate a decision for admission approval and notification of admission approval timely to referring agency
- Help develop and implement a marketing strategy for the facility with our regional marketing team as well as managers in the field
- Working closely with the company’s Admission’s and Business Office Manager
- Develop marketing materials such as brochures, flyers, ads, campaigns etc.
- Influence decision making among various stakeholders to generate referrals and admissions from referral sources
- Continuously conduct market assessments and develop a comprehensive marketing plan designed to meet company goals and objectives
- Participate in community events and activities that promote company goals and initiatives
Salary : $60,000 - $70,000
