Amethyst Consulting & Treatment Solutions is looking for a motivated and compassionate Contract Outpatient Therapist to join our expanding behavioral health team. This is a 1099 independent contractor role designed for clinicians who want flexibility, autonomy, and a steady stream of client referrals in a supportive environment.
You’ll provide individual, group, and family therapy to children, adolescents, and families. Services are delivered in a hybrid setting including office-based, home visits, and community-based care.
What You’ll Do:
- Conduct clinical mental health assessments and diagnostic evaluations
- Develop and implement individualized, goal-oriented treatment plans
- Provide individual, family, and/or group therapy sessions
- Deliver services in flexible settings (office, home, community)
- Provide crisis intervention and urgent care support as needed
- Complete accurate clinical documentation within 24 hours of each session
- Collaborate with internal teams, referral sources, and community providers
- Manage your own caseload and schedule
Who We’re Looking For:
- Must hold an active North Carolina license (or associate-level):
- LCSW, LCMHC, LMFT, or LCAS
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, or related mental health field
- 2 years of post-master’s experience in a mental health setting
- Experience with CBT and crisis intervention required
- Comfortable working with children, adolescents, and families
- Strong clinical documentation, diagnostic, and treatment planning skills
- Must carry current professional liability insurance
- Must have or be willing to obtain:
- National Provider Identifier (NPI)
- CAQH profile
- NC Tracks enrollment
- Associate-level clinicians must have a supervision contract in place
