Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Veterinary Technician to join our busy 8 doctor mixed animal practice. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animal care and possess a strong knowledge of animal anatomy and veterinary terminology. As a Veterinary Technician, you will play a crucial role in assisting veterinarians with animal restraint, pet care, diagnostic procedures, and more.
Duties:
- Assist veterinarians during exams and procedures
- Safely and compassionately restrain animals
- Perform diagnostics (radiology, lab tests)
- Use aseptic techniques for sample collection and catheter/needle procedures
- Administer medications and treatments as directed
- Communicate with clients and maintain accurate records
- Uphold facility cleanliness and safety standards
Qualifications:
- Experience in a veterinary setting (certification/degree preferred)
- Knowledge of veterinary procedures and terminology
- Skilled in animal care and teamwork
- Strong communication and attention to detail
