Interactive Customer Service Center Representative (Part-Time)

We are currently seeking a part-time Interactive Customer Service Center Representative to work afternoons at our Main Branch in Ames.  This person will provide exceptional customer service over the phone, telephone, email, secure messaging, and video banking.

Responsibilities Include:

• Responding to customer inquiries regarding loans, deposits, debit cards, account details, transactions, and other banking services.
• Answering incoming calls and handling requests or providing a warm transfer when necessary.
• Answering and resolving customer questions regarding account activity and account maintenance requests.
• Assisting customers with transfers, stop payments, check orders, contact information updates, research items, debit card limit increases, and statement reprints.
• Support customer transactional needs (deposits, transfers, withdrawals) through video banking.
• Maintaining a strong knowledge of the products and services offered by First National Bank to educate and inform customers. 

Requirements:

• Previous banking experience preferred.
• Experience performing customer service over the phone a plus.
• Video banking experience helpful.
• Ability to work comfortably with computer systems (including MS Office) and learn new systems.
• Excellent professional communication skills, including comfort with being "on screen".
• Strong basic math skills.
• Well organized with attention to detail.
• Dependable and able to work at our Downtown Ames Office.
