Preschool Float Teacher ages 3-5

Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Preschool Float Teacher to join our team! In this versatile role, you will serve as a flexible classroom presence, supporting various preschool classrooms to ensure a seamless and enriching learning environment. Your energetic approach and strong understanding of childhood development will help foster curiosity, social-emotional growth, and foundational skills in our young learners. This position will primarily work with children ages 3-5 years.

Duties

• Provide coverage across multiple preschool classrooms, adapting quickly to different groups and classroom needs to ensure continuous learning and engagement. Need to be flexible and adaptable.
• Support teachers with lesson planning
• Assist in implementing curriculum development strategies aligned with early childhood development standards.
• Manage classroom behavior using positive behavior intervention strategies to create a safe, nurturing environment conducive to learning.
• Engage children in age-appropriate activities that foster social skills, emotional regulation, and cognitive growth through hands-on experiences and play-based learning.
• Communicate effectively with parents and team members regarding children's progress, milestones, and any behavioral or developmental concerns.

Experience

• Prior classroom experience working with young children in a daycare, preschool, or private school setting is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge of childhood development
• Strong communication skills essential for collaborating with colleagues, engaging families, and documenting student progress accurately.
• Hands-on experience working with children with varied needs including toddlers or children requiring additional support through early intervention services.
