AMERX Health Care company is an Oldsmar based, family run medical device, drug, and cosmetic company who manufactures, markets, and distributes wound and skin care products. Our quality products are sold through private practices, retail, hospital, pharmacy, DME, and online retailers.

Job Summary:

The Sales Administrative Assistant supports the efforts of the Sales Department and reports to the Sales Operations and Administration Manager. The incumbent will assist with contracting, administrative writing and information management, managing processes, organization, analyzing information, and customer services.

The position requires a professional demeanor, a flexible attitude, a strong sense of urgency to accomplish tasks, problem solving skills and excellent verbal communication. This position uses Microsoft Office Suite daily; knowledge of Excel and Word is required.

Required Duties & Responsibilities:

· Receive and monitor incoming calls, emails, and requests for sales support and assistance

· Fax, scan, copy, assist, prepare, send sales-related samples, documents, packets, correspondence, etc., to sales representatives and customers

· Fax, scan and copy sales support and other documents as needed

· Prepare and maintain sales contracts for customers

· Create, update, and maintain information within the computer file management (electronic filing) and other pertinent databases and portals

· Preparations and organization of sales returns and exchanges

· Assist and/or back-up the Patient Direct Coordinator as needed

o Verification of products and services

o Preparation of orders; including reviewing and releasing

o Overseeing the verification and input team

o Customer service relating to orders, shipping, and shipping

The Skills required to do this job:

1. Requires two years of administrative experience in sales or a related area such as marketing

2. Strong research skills: information gathering, sorting and preparing for use internally and externally.

3. Ability to prepare professional Word document, PDF, Excel and Power Point.

4. Strong organizational skills.

5. Proven analytical skills to assist with information management.

6. Understanding of how to prepare effective marketing materials.

7. Ability to multi-task many projects; keep on task despite frequent interruptions.

8. Ability to solve problems independently.

9. Detail oriented.

10. The position requires a high school diploma

Knowledge required to do this job:

1. Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite: experience with Excel and Microsoft Word.

2. Understanding of information management.

3. Expert with all office machines, multi-line phones, fax, scanner, printer, copier, laminator.

Work Conditions:

  • Work usually performed in an office setting.
  • Manual dexterity required to use desktop computer and peripherals.
