Job Title: Medical Assistant
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dependable, compassionate, and bilingual (English/Spanish) Medical Assistant to support a multidisciplinary practice providing medical, chiropractic, and physical therapy services. The Medical Assistant will assist providers with patient care, clinical procedures, and daily office operations to help ensure an efficient and positive patient experience. This position requires travel between our two office locations in Takoma Park, MD and Baltimore, MD.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients for examinations and treatment
- Obtain and document vital signs, medical history, and patient information
- Assist providers with clinical procedures and patient care
- Maintain accurate and timely patient records in EMR/EHR systems
- Support scheduling, patient communication, and patient follow-up as needed
- Ensure treatment rooms and clinical areas are clean, stocked, and organized
- Follow company policies and maintain HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality
- Travel between Takoma Park and Baltimore office locations as needed
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Bilingual in English and Spanish required
- Prior Medical Assistant experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with EMR/EHR systems preferred
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between Takoma Park, MD and Baltimore, MD offices required
- Professional, dependable, and team-oriented attitude
