Mountain View Veterinary Clinic is seeking two experienced Veterinary Assistants to join our practice in Central Point, Oregon.
- Starting Salary: $17 – 21 per hour, depending on experience education, certifications and licensure
- Schedule: 4/10's - variable days based on business days. May include weekends.
- Additional Benefits: Scrub allowance

Who you are:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as a veterinary technician or assistant in a veterinary clinical setting required
- Knowledge of industry tools and equipment
- Passion for working with animals and their owners
- Experience with proper animal handling and restraint
- Understand the importance of excellent communication and organizational skills
- Obtain accurate and thorough medical histories
- Perform basic exam procedures
- Skilled in venipuncture/blood draws (cephalic, saphenous, and jugular)
- Able to perform digital radiology (X-ray) including positioning
- Comfortable with monitoring general anesthesia and surgical assisting, post-operative care and recovery
- Laboratory skills including microscope (ear and fecal cytology); automated in-house machines
- Excellent client communication/education
- Adaptable to new ways of working with current medical team and doctors
