The ideal candidate will be an experienced, dependable, detail-oriented team player who loves animals and being part of a fun, supportive team. They will have experience rooming patients, assisting in surgery, placing IV catheters, drawing blood, and running bloodwork, knowledge of X-rays and dental X-rays, proper positioning, experience with proper animal handling and restraint, understanding the importance of client education, and being a positive and supportive team member.

Requirements:
- Registered Veterinary Technicians (RVT licence must be current)
- 3 years of clinical veterinary experience (required)
- Strong anesthesia monitoring experience
- Experience with dental X-rays
- Highly skilled at teaching, training, and mentoring vet tech knowledge and skills with staff
- Experience with inventory for surgeries and back-of-the-house medications, and supplies
- Understands surgery scheduling and helps to control each surgery's flow to stay on track
- Full-time hours (required)
- Saturday & Sunday shifts (required)
- Qualified RVTs are eligible for a $2,000 sign-on bonus!*
- Experience as a veterinary technician or assistant.
- Strong animal handling skills and knowledge of clinical procedures.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Veterinary Technician Certification (CVT, RVT, or LVT) preferred – or eligibility to obtain licensure based on state requirements.
- Degree from an AVMA-accredited Veterinary Technology program preferred but not required.
- Assist veterinarians with exams, treatments, and surgical procedures.
- Safely handle and restrain animals; administer medications and vaccines.
- Collect lab samples and maintain accurate patient records.
- Educate clients on pet care and ensure a clean, organized work environment.
