We’re currently looking for a Technician Supervisor to lead and inspire our talented veterinary technician team.
🐶 About the Role:
As the Technician Supervisor, you’ll play a key role in the day-to-day operations of our hospital. You’ll be responsible for guiding, mentoring, and developing our technicians while ensuring the highest level of patient care. This role combines hands-on technical work with strategic team leadership. The technician supervisor will also have support from the Lead Technician and Practice Manager who also works on the floor as needed to support the team.

We pride ourselves on fostering a collaborative and supportive environment for our staff while delivering the best possible experience for our clients and their pets. Our hospital offers routine and diagnostic appointments, routine surgeries such as Spays, Neuters, Mass Removals, Dental Surgery, among other procedures. We are also proud to offer Acupuncture and Class IV Laser Therapy.
Leominster Animal Hospital was founded in 1988 by Dr. Robert C. Feccia, the hospital has grown from a small clinic into a trusted community resource for pet health. As Dr. Feccia was getting closer to retirement, he looked for the best company to continue growing the hospital and to look out for it’s best interest. Leominster Animal Hospital joined Amerivet in 2022 and with it, gained a wealth of support from the regional team, along with numerous resources and ability to practice the highest standards of care.
Our typical hours are Monday-Thursday 8am to 6pm, Fridays 8am to 5pm and occasional Saturdays 8am-1pm. Most of our staff enjoy having a 4 day work week to maintain a work-life balance.

- Provide strong, positive leadership and foster a collaborative team environment
- Oversee the daily workflow of the technician team to ensure efficiency and quality care
- Mentor and train new and existing team members, supporting skill development and growth
- Assist in scheduling, performance reviews, and team evaluations
- Collaborate closely with veterinarians and hospital leadership to implement best practices
- Maintain a high standard of patient care and client communication
- 3 years of experience as a veterinary technician; supervisory or leadership experience strongly preferred
- Credentialed technician (CVT, LVT, or RVT) preferred but not required
- Experience in a General Practice setting with appointments and surgeries
- Proven leadership skills with a passion for team building and mentorship
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to stay calm under pressure and lead by example in a fast-paced environment
