About us: Animal Care Clinic Monadnock in Peterborough, New Hampshire Animal Care Clinic-Monadnock is a well-established veterinary hospital providing wellness, dental, diagnostic, medical, and surgical services to the Monadnock region since 1989. We are currently looking for a certified technician to join our growing team and support our newly hired doctor. Qualifications Licensed or Experience as a veterinary technician. Strong animal handling skills and knowledge of clinical procedures. Strong knowledge and understanding of surgery, dental and anesthesia, monitoring patients during surgical and dental procedures. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Veterinary Technician Certification (CVT, RVT, or LVT) preferred – or eligibility to obtain licensure based on state requirements and or if scheduled to take the VTNE. Degree from an AVMA-accredited Veterinary Technology program. Responsibilities Assist veterinarians with exams, treatments, and surgical procedures. Safely handle and restrain animals; administer medications and vaccines. Collect lab samples and maintain accurate patient records. Educate clients on pet care and ensure a clean, organized work environment.
