Responsible for performing general labor as part of a team that is

- Driving spikes
- Moving and setting cross ties and lengths of steel rail
- Shoveling stone
- Adjusting switches
- Lubricating switches
- Tightening track bolts
- Checking track gauge
- Checking cross level
- Carrying track jack (approx. 40 lbs.)
- Must wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Other duties as assigned.
