Job Description

• Adhere to all Guest service standards for the position. Always maintain a positive professional image.
• Answer and direct all incoming calls to the sales office and greet all clients that enter the sales office. Maintain clean, hospitable office environment for team and clients
• Perform word processing tasks, spreadsheets, filing, and coping duties for Team as assigned. This could include creating/printing tickets, menu cards, gift certificates, etc.
• Assist welcoming groups and assisting with directing guests when needed for events.
• Act as guest service liaison, handle guest opportunities and resolve situations to ensure smooth operations and excellent customer service throughout the conference center.
• Assist with inspecting meeting rooms prior to the Guest’s arrival ensuring the details from the Banquet Event Order are executed correctly.
• Act as on-property liaison for group & event contacts to coordinate with all departments and ensure group requests are accommodated
• Interact with guests to obtain feedback on quality and service standards
• Join Event Managers as they initiate and conduct planning meetings with clients to understand their vision for the event to accurately articulate their needs with the Property
• Work closely with Banquets, Culinary, Hotel and other leadership to ensure client’s arrangements are executed as contracted and detailed
• Assist Sr. Catering & Conference Services Manager to prepare and distribute daily, weekly and monthly reports as required. Includes daily BEO distribution and Change Log. Maintain accurate BEO Book
• Service and detail conference center groups and/or internal events as assigned by Sr. Catering & Conference Services Manager
• Document all details and activities accurately in Delphi.
• Perform all administrative duties as required to successfully assist the department. Complete group resumes or group information sheets & post-con reports for each group as required
• Foster excellent interdepartmental communication and rapport throughout the property
• Maintain knowledge of all promotions throughout the property to engage and retain business
• Maintain communication and rapport with guests to ensure the utmost quality customer satisfaction
• Adhere to all department and property policies and procedures, including, but not limited to, standards of conduct, attendance, appearance, cash handling, confidentiality, safety, signature sequence of service, and sanitation
• Help ensure accountability for all compliance issues, regulations, laws, and health requirements as related to food and beverage operations
• Perform all related duties as assigned by designated managers or Director of Sales
