Initial placement within the salary range is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills, and experience. - Greets guests in a timely manner with a smile and a pleasant disposition.
- Must be familiar with menu, preparation of drinks and food, and prices.
- Uses suggestive selling techniques.
- Takes guest’s order and accurately inputs it into the computer/register.
- Explains the ingredients in the various beverages.
- Carries on a friendly conversation with the guests as coffee is prepared.
- Prepares for the next shift by filling the supplies and cleaning and sanitizing the workstation and equipment.
- Works as a Barista making coffee, blended beverages, etc.
- Works the cash register and maintains an accurate bank.
- Maintains cleanliness of designated areas.
- Adheres to all company standards, policies, and procedures.
- Completes assigned side work and any additional daily tasks.
- Previous cash handling experience is an asset.
- High School graduate or GED equivalent preferred.
- Ability to communicate effectively with others.
- Excellent customer service skills
- Previous Food & Beverage experience helpful.
- Previous Starbucks experience an asset.
