The Heavy Duty Porter - EVS/Custodian is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, sanitation, and overall appearance of assigned facilities. This role involves performing a wide range of cleaning and maintenance tasks, from routine daily cleaning to specialized detail work, while ensuring all equipment is properly maintained and operated safely.
Key Responsibilities:
Minimum of two (2) years cleaning experience preferred; knowledge of carpet and floor care, chemicals and equipment.

Job Description
The Heavy Duty Porter - EVS/Custodian is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, sanitation, and overall appearance of assigned facilities. This role involves performing a wide range of cleaning and maintenance tasks, from routine daily cleaning to specialized detail work, while ensuring all equipment is properly maintained and operated safely.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain all public areas, including hallways, lobbies, stairways, locker rooms, and other assigned spaces
- Perform detailed cleaning tasks such as high dusting, carpet shampooing, floor stripping, and specialized surface care
- Operate and maintain cleaning equipment including stripping machines, carpet shampooers, and floor sweepers, with regular preventative maintenance
- Remove trash, debris, and waste materials from all assigned areas using appropriate disposal methods
- Clean carpets, rugs, and upholstered furniture using vacuum cleaners, brooms, and shampoo machines
- Perform elevated cleaning tasks, including working from 10-foot ladders to clean elevator tracks, light fixtures, and high-reach areas
- Handle biohazard and biochemical material cleanup in accordance with safety protocols and regulations
- Demonstrate finger dexterity and attention to detail in all cleaning tasks
- Regularly lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds and operate equipment requiring up to 75 pounds of force
- Stand for extended periods while performing assigned duties
- Complete additional duties as assigned by management

- Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary certifications and/or licenses as required by local gaming regulations
