Initial placement within the salary range is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills, and experience. Responsibilities
- Greet guests in a timely manner with a smile and a pleasant disposition.
- Must be familiar with food offerings, preparation of food and prices.
- Use suggestive selling techniques.
- Take guest’s order and accurately input it into the computer/register.
- Complete assigned side work and any additional daily tasks.
- Maintain cleanliness and supplies inside stations.
- Always conduct oneself in a manner that reflects a positive professional image.
- Follow all cash handling procedures.
Requirements
- Strong customer service skills
- Cash Handling skills.
- Ability to sustain a high level of professionalism.
- Ability to maintain a high level of energy and take a proactive and strategic approach to dealing with guest issues.
- Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with guests at all levels.
- Highly organized and detail oriented.
- One (1) year experience in full-service restaurant, buffet, or deli.
- Must have a friendly, positive attitude.
- Able to lift fifty pounds.
- Able to read and write English sufficiently to communicate with co-workers and supervisors.
- Able to work varied shifts and hours.
