AmeriStaff Employment and Staffing Solutions is seeking an Administrative Professional who has an interest in building a career as an Administrative Assistant for a client of ours in South Boston, VA.
Responsibilities of the Administrative Professional:
- Schedule and conduct orientations and interviews with applicants.
- Perform accurate data entry of customer information
- Communicate with customers and walk-ins effectively and efficiently
- Completing on-boarding tasks such as background checks, drug tests, etc.
- Communicate with clients, applicants, and employees via phone, text, and emails.
Requirements for the Administrative Professional:
- High school diploma or equivalent and two (2) years of office experience required.
- Knowledge of general human resource topics (recruiting, application process, interviewing, hiring).
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees and the public.
- Attend community events on occasion after business hours.
- Excellent customer service and phone etiquette skills in a professional office environment.
- Possess strong verbal, written, problem solving, and social skills.
- Proficient computer skills with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Organized, self-motivated, goal oriented, creative thinker, and problem solver.
- Desire to be proactive and create a positive experience for others.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
