Responsible for completing various tasks related to titled vehicle transactions. Perform research and validation of information related to title(s) to mitigate fraud. Prepare knowledge-based instruction to ensure clear title to vehicle/units per contracts with customers, preparation of documentation, and other duties as assigned.
Responsibilities
· Performing Title Review(s)
· Completing Title Validation using websites and NVMTIS
· Filing, scanning/saving documents
· Preparing various applications/forms for filing at state agencies
· Communicate with customers telephonically, and via email
· Prepare and ship out title packages to customers/tag agency/DMV
· Prepare lien entry forms
· Accept ELTs through electronic lien system
· Maintain accurate notes in system related to transactions.
· Reviewing perfected/transferred documents for accuracy and completeness
· Identify and perform corrections on items incorrectly titled
· Researching/distributing various correspondence received (tolls/tickets/registration)
· Updating title inventory
· Accessing multiple databases
· Ad hoc projects assigned per Management.
Qualifications
Required Knowledge, Skills and Competencies:
· Understanding of verbiage associated with vehicle titles, registration, processing.
· Ability to multi-task.
· Detail oriented.
· Proficient in Excel.
Industry and Work Experience:
· Minimum 1-3 years experience.
Academic:
· High school diploma or GED required.
This position will be Hybrid in CA and require you to become a notary. This will be covered by the company.
