We are seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Release Coordinator to support our Quality Assurance team and keep product moving accurately and efficiently.
About the Role. Reporting to the QA Manager, you will review finished-product records, coordinate positive release activities, communicate product status, and support decisions involving holds, rework, and release. You will also serve as a designated backup for the QA Manager’s positive-release responsibilities. This is a full-time, exempt, first-shift position; occasional extended hours, evenings, or weekend work may be required.
What You'll Do.
· Review finished-product documentation and testing results for accuracy and compliance before final release.
· Coordinate product holds, rework, and release activities in accordance with company, customer, and regulatory requirements.
· Communicate product status and priorities with Quality, Production, Warehouse, and management teams.
· Support oversight of record reviewers and the visual inspection team.
· Research documentation discrepancies, obtain missing records, and address deficiencies promptly.
· Perform end-item testing and visual examinations to verify product specifications.
· Maintain organized electronic and physical quality records for traceability and audit readiness.
· Monitor adherence to GMP, FDA, USDA, SQF, HACCP, and other applicable standards.
· Identify and escalate nonconforming product concerns and support corrective actions.
· Assist with audits, customer visits, and related quality-information requests.
· Serve as the designated backup for the QA Manager’s positive-release responsibilities.
· Follow all company safety requirements and support additional Quality Assurance priorities as assigned.
