AmeriQual ADC Warehouse Receiving Clerk

Position: ADC Foods – 1 st Shift Warehouse Receiving Clerk Starting Pay rate: $21.34/hr

Job Purpose

The primary purpose is to schedule and receive raw material. Ensure accurate inventory records by completing accurate transactions and audit documentation for all inventory movement. Conduct warehouse quality storage audits and identify improvement opportunities.

Duties and Responsibilities ( List is not inclusive and may vary as required by department leadership)

• Work with suppliers and freight companies to schedule dock appointments.

• Responsible for processing, checking, and verifying materials received on both Cold and Dry side.

• Complete related computer entries and documentation using Sage

• Coordinate product storage and inventory levels with appropriate personnel.

• Complete related records, reports, and paperwork.

• Ensure that receiving functions are completed in accordance with Company standards and procedures.

• Assist with general warehouse duties during period of low receiving activity.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Forklift certification on standup reach truck/sit-down & willing to learn operating turret truck.
• RF scanner and inventory transaction experience desired.
• Detail oriented with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-changing environment
• Ability to work both independently and in a team setting
• Must be able to work at the required pace while ensuring accuracy
• Become familiar with sage E.R.P System

• Ability to follow all work instructions and safety procedures

Physical Requirements

While performing the duties of this job, employees are regularly required to sit, walk and stand; Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision and the ability to adjust focus; talk or hear, both in person and by telephone; use hands repetitively to operate standard office equipment; reach with hands and arms; and lift up to 25 pounds. Position will frequent the production floor, so operating in standard seasonal warehouse and food processing plant temperature conditions will be required. Work is completed in a facility where nuts, fruits and other allergens are present. Cold storage operating conditions could apply .
