Key Responsibilities
Partner with Regional Director on recruiting efforts within an assigned territory.
Proactively manage your region’s talent pipeline by guiding candidates through key stages of the recruiting process—for example, encouraging attendance to VIP following an initial meeting, or re-engaging candidates who have become inactive after initial contact.
Effectively engage your sourcing partners to deliver qualified leads for initial advisor meetings, ensuring a steady pipeline of high-potential candidates aligned with Ameriprise’s growth strategy.
Monitor and confirm contact occurs with each new lead. Maintain direct communication with sourcing partners to ensure there is a next step with every lead.
Conduct Initial Meetings with candidates and be prepared to articulate the Ameriprise value proposition, including our client-focused culture, integrated technology, robust support systems, and growth opportunities.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders (e.g. field leaders, DVPs, transition teams) to ensure a seamless candidate experience.
Stay current on industry trends, competitive intelligence, and advisor movement to inform recruiting strategy.
Required Qualifications
5-7 years' relevant experience
Bachelor's degree or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
Series 7
Industry certifications e.g. CFP®, CRPC®
Strategic thinker with a proactive, goal-oriented mindset
Proactive mindset with the skill for identifying and addressing issues early
Strong understanding of financial advisor community — their motivations, challenges, and aspirations
Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple processes simultaneously and drive results
