We are seeking a detail-oriented and client-focused Financial Planning Assistant to support our financial planning team and help deliver outstanding client experiences.
Position Overview
The Financial Planning Assistant plays a key role in supporting financial advisors by preparing financial planning materials, maintaining client records, and assisting with account and office management. This on-site position is ideal for someone with strong organizational skills, a passion for financial services, and a desire to grow within the financial planning profession.
Key Responsibilities
Client Service & Administrative Support
- Support the office with answering phones, clerical tasks, account paperwork, and service requests as needed.
Financial Planning Support
- Assist advisors in preparing comprehensive financial plans and recommendations.
- Gather and input financial data into financial planning software.
- Generate reports on investments and other planning areas.
- Conduct basic research on financial products and planning strategies.
- Ensure planning materials are accurate, complete, and professionally presented.
- Assist with transactional items and client account management.
Qualifications
Required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Outlook, and Word
- Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Professionalism and discretion with confidential information.
Preferred
- Experience with CRM systems such as Salesforce
- Eager to learn and understand investments, retirement planning, insurance, and wealth management concepts.
