Fireside Wealth, a Private Wealth Advisory Practice of Ameriprise Financial, is seeking an Associate Financial Advisor (AFA) to join a collaborative and growth-focused team. This role is designed for a licensed professional who is eager to build long-term client relationships, develop planning expertise, and pursue the CFP® designation (if not already obtained).

Key Responsibilities
Client Relationship Development
- Support advisors in managing and developing client relationships
- Build trust with clients through consistent communication and education
- Grow into increased client ownership over time
Financial Planning & Analysis
- Assist in developing financial plans and investment strategies
- Analyze client data and provide thoughtful, personalized recommendations
- Support planning conversations with a strong analytical foundation
Meeting Preparation & Execution
- Prepare materials and ensure follow-through on action items
- Participate in client meetings and gradually take on a more active role
Team Collaboration
- Work closely with advisors and team members to deliver a high-quality client experience
- Contribute to a positive, supportive team culture
Ideal Candidate Profile
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 2–5 years of experience in financial services or a related, client-facing role
- Active securities licenses (Series 7 & 66 preferred or willingness to obtain quickly)
Preferred Qualifications
- Interest in pursuing or currently working toward CFP® certification
- Experience working with financial planning tools and client relationship systems

Compensation & Benefits
Base Salary: $90,000 – $110,000 (commensurate with experience) - exempt
